We have tried to provide you with information on a variety of topics relating to children and their families who require that extra bit of love and support. Hopefully these links will help you deal with, understand, learn from and enjoy your little individual.

ADD/ADHD & Autistic Disorders
Not every disability is apparent to the naked eye or can be diagnosed by a blood test or treated based on a Physician's Desk Reference ... no quarantees of success offered. Sometimes a child may appear "out of sync" with his peers and can be given different labels by different medical professionals. Quite often Mom, who knows her child best, is the one who does most of the homework and raises the pertinent questions that lead to a proper diagnosis. Below are links to sites with information on Attention Deficit & Autistic related disorders. As social issues abound with our children, you may want to step into the Education Station for links to sites on how to handle the playground bully. WE are our child's best advocate!!!
